Random Access Tracks

Since the release of Get Lucky, Daft Punk have become the most regarded artist in the world. We can't imagine what the release of the album will be like on the 21st of May. They are writing the story of the new disco. When artists that lack in reputation are trying to pass their song for the title of Random Access Memories, one trailer made by a fan transformed on a one hour loop has particularly caught our attention. We let you discover, what could be one extract of "Lose Yourself To Dance..."

Yes, they are ALIVE !

How long have we waited since We Are The People, from the Aussie band Empire of the Sun? Just a wee recap. The group was separated...Wait...WHAT?? Yes, you have heard right. One of the members disappeared like a fish in the sea. Hopefully for the fans it was just for a little time as the band is now back on the scene with a new tune, Alive. Available now on iTunes, with an album coming soon. You heard it on our post because you are a guest. Enjoy!

Leak

Again in the storm of the French duo Daft Punk, we've just found a new tune similar to a fake one but also quite similar to what these helmet guys can do. The fake is actually not that bad, and it as lead to confusion for many fans. Leak or fake??? Well, it will al become clear on 21st May, when “Random Access Memories” is released! However, we are sure of one thing: Pharrell Williams will sing on this new album. Evidence? Here’s a short teaser from the Coachella festival!

#wemissthe90s

Every night is the same, maybe a hundred iPod will be turn on, because “idiscoveratunethateverybodywillloveforsure”. In the end, you look for the laptop, check the basis, put Gala and everybody in trance. This is the 90’s effect. Indeed, this is the kind of music you will never hate, never forget or will never get board of. Why, because simply you’re too attached. It reminds you your sweet childhood, with your tamagoshi, your horrible multi-coloured clothes and friends tv series. Music producers have understood this about the generation who have known VengaBoys or Haddaway. Touch Sensitive have understood this. You have probably missed the last tune with Anna Lunoe, Real Talk. Well, it’s not too late and here we bring you this new fresh tune, Touch Me.

Time for a Break

We understand you! The realization of Breakbot not being in the middle of anything, no information or announcements about a next album release or EP. Obviously this is distressing, therefore our news that we believe a new production is coming will allow you to relax a little. If this piece was released loosely on the net, it’s with excitement from fans of the boy from the Ed Banger stable. Amateur synth and fervent servant of the French touch, you will be served.

Puns

If there are some guys among you who are French today, they will understand the friendly joke about the name of our artist of today, BeatauCue. This producer has already appeared on Kitsuné Musique, a Parisian label you should know rather well (if not, don’t lose time and click here!), for the tune “Disque Oh” (this guy is definitely a fan of puns!) He now brings us a new EP which will be out on Kitsuné 8th April! Below, you will find a mini-mix for what we can expect about this new one, but above all, you can listen to all the tracks on his Soundcloud page!

Voyager

With all this excitement around the helmeted French duo Daft Punk, imitations are raining on the internet, and denials follow. Yet in all this bric-a-brac, urTunes dug you a little gem in the genre. Many tracks have been confounded with the French band and some comparisons deserve to be known, but we chose to retain only one which barely comes out. But who is Rex Ronan?? It is still unclear, but the EP has just been released (March 26) and named Beyond. If you liked the style of Voyager, you will be served!
Enough to make us wait until May ...

Good Vibes

"Good vibes", a perfect sum up one fan commented on the tune posted on soundcloud. Indeed, Plastic Plates bring us a fresh remixes of the great title of French DJ Para One, Every Little Thing. This is the perfect moment for a artist check. For those who don’t know them, don’t worry, urTunes is here. Plastic Plates is just one of the favorite of Kitsune, Parisian label of electronic music, and maybe one of the best thing to do is to start here.

PARA ONE

Para One, we don’t think we should introduce him as a genius producer yet, but in the future you never know. This French DJ who launched Marble with other Frenchie Surkin, is above all, one of the most popular artist of his generation. His last production of Passion in 2012 is the best example of his talent right now and we encourage all of you, if you have the chance and the opportunity to see him live.
But first, let’s back in 2006, because Para One, is also this.

We are Jupiter

Quarles is the boy, she is called Amelie. Together they formed the band Jupiter. It was in 2009 that the two artists met on a dance floor of a London nightclub. While the songMama used to say”, a song which have known a great success in the disco era, is playing on the turntables: everyone leaves the dancefloor. All, except them-two. A sign that they will not go unnoticed as they will use their talent to form one of the hottest disco pop groups on the planet. They begin their career with the tune that brought them together, once in London town. UrTunes select for you five titles of the French group to familiarize yourself with the French touch finally, for those who are late ...

Mama used to say – Here, where everything has begun..

Saké – Do you have a japanese friend in your group ? Yes ?! That’s fantastic as you will be able to understand the first sentence of this song, which is, of course, in yakusa language. What a perfect clip they deliver to us.

Hoola Hoop – The last production they have released, and what a big one ! Indeed, you will find some incredible tunes, like this one, well representative of what Jupiter can do.

One o six (Juv̩niles remix) РJuv̩niles, in french, is reprentative of the young generation. As talented as they are young, these french guys (french guys, too many french guys there..) bring us a slow version of this tune, available on the eponymous EP with all remixes released.

Elliot Uppercut (Mr Gonzo remix) – Probably one of the best remixes made in 2013. No, actually, we are sure, this is the best. God bless this awesome guy (don’t hesitate to check his soundcloud profile !!) and Jupiter of course..

The Beach

On a terrace of a villa bordering a beach of St. Barts, you sip lemonade lying in a handmade hammock, and wait quietly until the summer holiday ends, all in a heat of around 40 degrees Celsius.
Now you’re probabally wondering if you are on the right si
te, if it’s not that we sponsor trips for vacationers good fortune. You are well on urTunes!!

In fact, we fell in the new remix from Shook, track Ghost Beach, Been There Before. Staring the song, you realize very quickly that the summer has already put his suitcase in your living room… too bad! Turn up the volume and get the shorts out. You wait a bit for sandcastles.
If Shook had used a good rhythm on synthesizer, this time he brings us the best of this March, we stuck with it…

This is the dream opportunity to spend an hour near your speakers and sample the integral of this talented electronic music producer. Come on, we are doing it!

TGI : Thanks God It's Flight Facilities

When you are tired of the saturation of the music business, some cool vintage in these times of crisis, it is a ray of sunshine in the middle of a fog. When Flight Facilities decided to take a classic Paul Simon, obviously we know what to expect.

The song was released in 86 was already a hit we seek at all costs to keep in vinyl collection, stored in the library with the words "not for sale". This time the proposed edition reveals a more lively but does not betray the American singer.
And once something new is not a sword in the water, we take it!

One More Time

A picture posted on facebook, and it’s the whole world that is waiting like a dog for its food. The two helmets are joined to make just one, as they tell us that Daft Punk is just one and only one person. With a black background, and the Columbia logo, this is a way to tell us Daft Punk has taken a new route.

Homework, Discovery, Human After All and Tron : Legacy- all produced on the Virgin Label. Now, with Columbia, that the French band from Versailles will sort out their (so long waited) new album.
The last album which was made for the Walt Disney movie; Tron : Legacy, was not unanimous among fans, and the vibes from Homework and Discovery are still missing.

Something tells us that easter will be exciting… More To Follow
